Cookies with Santa at Berewick

Santa may be busy this time of year, but he’s never too busy to stop by the Berewick Manor House for a visit. Berewick children stopped by to decorate cookies and take pictures on Santa’s lap. We had a photographer ready to capture each child’s special time with Santa. With Santa, cookies and hot coco ready to drink, everyone had a great time!

LENNAR’S GRAND OPENING

Leading homebuilder Lennar will celebrate its grand opening of its New Model in the Aberdeen village of Berewick on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The builder, known for its signature Everything’s Included program, will be giving tours of its new model and providing lunch. There will also be cookie decorating and photos with Santa during the grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can also register for a chance to win a $250 gift card.
The “Roosevelt,” located at 6130 Berewick Commons Parkway, features an open floorplan with five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a third-floor finished studio and 3,516 square feet.
Lennar is offering nine different floorplans in Aberdeen ranging from 2,205 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet and from four to six bedrooms. The homes, with basement plans and third-floors available, start in the low $200s and include Lennar’s “Everything’s Included®” program that provides homeowners with high-end features like granite countertops and hardwoods included in the base price.
The builder has completed construction in its first phase in Berewick, the Village at Abernathy.

BEREWICK’S HALLOWEEN HOOT

Guys and ghouls of all ages had a howling good time at this year’s Halloween Hoot! We had crafts, snacks, pumpkin decorating, a magician, a maze and much more!

Berewick Wine Tasting

Berewick residents enjoyed a complimentary Spanish wine tasting where a wine expert walked them though seven different Spanish wines. They learned how to taste wine and properly pair these specific wines with food. It was a great night! This is sure to be a recurring event.

Back to School Bash

The Back to School Bash was a blast! There was swimming, splash contests, hula hoop challenges, a DJ and concessions. It was a great way to send the summer out in style. Our last pool event for the season will be Dive-In where you can sit in your favorite pool float while watching the movie Hugo.

Berewick’s July Realtor Event

The Berewick realtor event was a successes! We had several agents join us for lunch at our models. D.R. Horton served up Fried Chicken with all the fixings from The Chicken Coop, Essex was severing up Mexican style from Salsarita’s with everything needed for great taco’s & Burritos along with frozen margarita’s, and Lennar was severing The Red Rocks Café with home style Baked ziti and meatballs with roasted potatoes and chocolate chip cookies. Each model gave away $100.00 dollar visa cards. The lucky winners were Sherri Green with Wilkinson & Associates, Sherman Dargins with Realty Resources and Irl Dixon with Coldwell Banker.

All American Patriotic Party

This years Berewick All American Patriotic Party was a big hit! With lots to celebrate with our nation’s independence, residents came out with true red, white and blue fashion. We had lots of games for the kids and the adults alike, but the favorite by far was the adult greased pig dive. There is just something hysterical about grown men wrestling for a greased watermelon in the pool. Al in all the music, food and company was fantastic. God Bless America!

Cruise on in to Berewick event

Our realtor’s luncheon was a big hit! A little over a hundred agents came out to the Manor House for a delicious lunch cater by City Tavern. We were serving up frozen mango drinks, crab cake, lobster ravioli and much more. Agents toured all our model homes and were back in time for our big prize drawing. The following agents were our big winners. Grand Prize winner of the 6 day Carnival Cruise- Lisa Meltzner/Allen Tate, $200 Hand & spa gift card- Vincent Holmes/Wilkinson & Associates, $200 Del Frisco’s gift card-Jim McGuire/ Home in the Carolinas Realty,$200 Target gift card- Kitty Giese/Southern Homes of the Carolinas and $150 visa gift card- Cathy Whiteside/Weichert Realtors. Easter at Berewick

The Easter Bunny stopped by Berewick the week before Easter to visit with all the Berewick kids. He managed to hide over 2000 Easter eggs for a grand Easter egg hunt! The children also enjoyed many games with a DJ from Little Dreamers Productions. They then worked some of the sweets off by jumping to the finish line in a bunny hop race. There was so much to do and everyone had a wonderful time. We are already looking forward to next years Easter egg hunt!

Family Fun Night

Family fun night at Berewick was tons of fun. With lots of games and dancing the night away with the music bumping parents and kids alike had a blast! Just to name a few there were hula hoop and dance off contests and many more fun activities. And to top the night off Chick-Fil-a for all.
